Tyneside Cinema
Based on Pilgrim Street right in the centre of Newcastle, Tyneside Cinema not only screens a range of contemporary and classic films, but also plays host to AV Festival, Northern Lights Film Festival and develops a range of education and outreach work across the region.

Created by the loose collective of four groups who programmed at Side Cinema for a while (Cineside, Radical Side, The A Side and The Other Side), Star & Shadow is a brand new independent/alternative cinema and music venue, programming a wide range of classic/contemporary/world/engaged/gay and lesbian/artist film.
